When a foundation wall, like the one pictured below, has cracked and bowed the best repair option is to replace the damaged section. The wall is excavated from the outside, install temporary supports and removed the damaged wall. A new wall is then laid and the area back filled.
Below is a brick foundation repair we recently did. An 11 foot section of the wall was starting to bow inwards and needed to be replaced before the problem progressed to the rest of the wall. We were able to replace this section with a block foundation and brick veneer. This construction reduced cost, maintained the historic look and increased the foundation strength.
